a/t idling problem....
I just bought a 97 240sx and just noticed that when the car is turned on the rpms start off normal and then climb to 2k rpms.
Then if i put it in drive it goes to about 1.4 rpms, which is fine but then when i put it into neutral the rpms sky rocket to 2100 and then trying to put it back into drive it grinds. (Same thing happens if you leave it in park and try to put it in gear its grinding casue the rpms are high.)
What can this be.? The car has 81k, miles on it. No mahjor crashs, and the car shifts fine while driving...
