AC problem

doing a swap for sr20det blacktop s14 into a 95 240sx and the shop doing it called and said that there is problem with fitting the ac into the car what could this be.

There shouldnt be a problem with the fitment...but possibly the wiring.

ya they are probably pulling your leg the shop i used to work for srewed all most everyone that walked into the shop they probably crossed threaded it and want you to pay for it dont take their carp

what doesnt match in the wiring,and what do i do to fix this?

The S14 JDM wiring doesnt match up to the US S14 wiring, so they need to splice it together. I dont know what wires need to be spliced to what wires, but good luck

ok they said they had to use the compressor of the s14 blacktop because the bracket,but this causes the lines not to match up.now what.

We just did an sr20det swap into a 95 240 and the stock US compressor bolted right on to the sr20det with all 4 bolts. The only problem was the belt didn't quite line up but we used a K4-345 and cut one rib off and used the three groves that lined up. The belt has stayed on and it turns the compressor. You should not have to use the sr20det compressor.
