im in the middle of a ka24-sr20 swap and im havin a bit of trouble getting the engine to pull away from the tranny. what do you normally have to do to pull it away besides all the bolts and wire harnesses?

 

is the set out of the car or you pulling the trans off then the motor? I would recommend pulling the whole set. You need to pull driveshaft out. And shifter. If you cant get them apart. Hit the bell housing of the trans with a rubber mallet and wiggle the trans. Usually wiggling will do the trick. Also make sure the mount is unbolted.
