I thought the wiring was gonna be alot harder, but it wasnt. seriously, if you have ever done any wiring I bet you could do it yourself, if you were well rested and took your time. Maybe have someone else with you to doublecheck your work, or connections.
RK or Jon, do either of you have any RB alternators laying around? I think mine is bad, may be a cold joint on the charging circuit (but I doubt it cause its a thick wire) I am gonna check it today just in case, and take the alt to have it tested.

 

Take it and have it rebuilt....much simpler than locating a new one and it will only take a couple days.
