sr20's popularity is good. its giving us mods and even oem parts to repair things in a greater amount and lower price. a car can still be unique with an sr (mods) lets face it its been done but not everyone has what it takes to undertake a swap.

it is kinda funny cause not many people knew much about the RB at this time. now its a little more out there and the parts are way easier to get and they arent that much more than SR parts (some are even cheaper). I would like to see how this debate would go now. without people getting pissed at eachother of course.
I know my opinions, cause I can walk outside and get in my car with an RB or my buddys car with an SR, and I KNOW which one is faster.

i have both an rb25 and an sr20. the rb25 takes a little more work to get in the car ( not much more though), wiring is easy on both. parts are easier to find on the sr. parts are harder to get and more expensive on the rb. as for power, lets be realistic, how much are you really gonna need? the sr is cheaper in the long run if you have realistic poer goals. if your like me, mine arent. ive dumped over 10k in the sr already. so my rb is pretty much mild. i like em both though. if i were to do it over agian i wouldnt buy the rb. i would just stick with the sr. the rb takes up a lot of space under the hood by the way.

where are my posts about my RB20DET swap? I have a 89 240SX with a RB20DET swap, T3/T4 hybrid, 3" DP, 80mm Bullet exhaust, FMIC, and limited slip with Skyline brakes. I'm running almost 1 bar of boost, only thing holding me back is I've maxxed out my afm and the engine cuts out at about 5500RPM. 300ZX mafs in the works as well as 465cc RX7 injectors....
