well im a noob but im very good at researching before i post but i cant find the resolution to my problem anywhere.. i just got a 95 240sx and the tach doesnt move regardless how high the rpm's are. it always stays at 200rpm,and it looks like it just vibrates, like it wants to move, but cant,,, any help is well appreciated! is this major problem, or just a bad cluster?

 

if you can hear the car idleing normal and it sounds like it can rev high then i'm guessing it's nothing major just a bad cluster

 

thanks for the quick reply, i am hoping that it is just the cluster, if not what else can it be, its just the tach not working, speedo works fine!

 

if not, somthing might be wrong with the ECU but i doubt that if everything else is working. i bet it's a bad cluster
