Two Problems. Window and Seatbelt

I have a 1990 S13 Hatchback. There are two problems. I tried searching on the forums but I dont know if anyones problems is same as mine. My driver side power window wont work. No sound, no nothing when I press the driver window switch. But for passenger side it works? What could that be? The seatbelt problem is that when I go in the car, the "automatic" seatbelts arent automatic at all. They do not move from there spots. Driver and Passenger side. On my gauge cluster, the seatbelt light even stays on constantly. Never seen it not on. So the driver side window switch wont work and the automatic seatbelts wont retract and the gauge cluster seatbelt light is always on. Please help me with the situation. Thanks.

For the window, replace the power window amplifier, also called the relay... it is the little black box that connects to your window switch inside the door. They are kind of expensive new, but I got mine from a U-Pull junkyard for $7.

the seat belt ecu is known to fail, i've heard the dealership will fix or replace it for free if in fact that is the problem.

i've been told by four different people that it is free. but if it's not then you could always swap the auto seat belts with the manual belts.

If you aren't hearing any sound, no clicking noises, then that would be my bet... especially if your driver switch takes the passenger window down. I had a similar problem, and the relay fixed it. I ended up replacing my switch first, and that did not solve the problem (although it solved a problem I didn't know I had: no one-touch down driver window), but when I put the new relay in, I haven't had a problem since.
