i had no seriuos mods to my supra - the insurance out here is fine i pay full coverage for 100 a month
or liability for 68

and for this discussion if u plan on going drifting i would say go 240 more parts better set up for drift


if u want a drag car and more luxury things go with the supra

240 dont compete with the supra on the drag if u through the same money at each never hear of a 1000hp 240 do u

no replacement for displacement -- thats y i am in the converions from a 91 240sx - to a s13.5 with a chevy 350 motor in it

 

^^ actually there's a guy that's putting down close to it. I think it was 950 in a 240. I'll find out who it is. But yes you hear more supra's putting down big numbers than 240s.

 

im 6'4'' i drive a 93 hatch. its not small but i do wish the seat was a lil bit lower. yet i have no problems with head room. but for the back seats. well dont even bother. but id go with the 240.

 

true but if you put the money you spent gettin 1000hp on your supra you could have a 3000hp mustang lol so the reason i think the supra is over rated is cause anything a supra can do another car can do it cheaper. now if you like it for looks then that different

 

Obviously thats true but im talk as if u were staying on the import side nothing bets a supra

if i wanted a drag car i would go with a mustang or a camaro and turbocharge it

and yes there is a guy in the 9s with a 240 and is backed up behind a race team and doesnt use his money and motor is rebuilt everyother day

but people with there own money will never get there

there are so many supras doing 9s and are average people with no sponsors

and i think there is a supra in the 8s now I believe
