almost stalling

allright i have an s13 with a sr swap stock turbo, s15 injectors, r33 fuel pump, greddy intake manifold, apexi exhaust, blow off, hks intake and fmic, blitz sbc-id runnin 12 lbs of boost.I dont get on it much but when i do after i let of the throttle and put the clutch in the rpms drop fast, slows down around 1k then it drops down to like 300 and almost stalls and a few times it has so if anyone has had this problem or knows what it is or has any suggestions please let me know thanks

i think it might be the blow off but im not sure how you go about recirculating it

basically, play with the idle air control screw which is on the manifold with a philips screw... try to open it up a little bit it might idle higher but it will take away your "stalling process"... and what is your boost guage vaccum reading at?? basically stock sr with few bolt ons it should be dead on 20 in-hg... andthing less you have a vaccum leak somewhere and this could be causing your "stalling" problem.. let us know

I had that problem, but it was with my stock KA. I don't know if it would be fixed the same way. On the KA I had to clean out the throttle body, but like I said, I dunno about the SR

speaking with no SR experience, this is known to happen w/ KA's as well. Check your basics, your MAFS could be clogged not sending in enough air during the recovery from gunning it, your 02 sensor could be bad, vacuum lines could be bad, throttle body could need to be cleaned.
I don't know how to verify the BOV, ask that in toe turbo forum.

Yep. I agree with the Doc. Don't look to find a problem with your engine or your turbo. Mine stalled just like yours is doing. Cleaned my MAF sensor...... problem never came back.

sup as u guys know im a learner i jus wanted to know whats a maf?and if u clean ur maf (which i dont know yet) and prob. contines it most likely should be the 02 sensor cuz same thing happened with my freinds 240sx and at dead stop it would almost stall and then when he would give throttle in 2nd gear at lik 2500 rpm it would sound lik its not going in gear and he would have like really press the gas then it would pull in gear. The shop said it was doin that cuz the o2 sensor was messed so it couldn't sense how much air, well thats all know pretty much.

MAF Sensor is the Mass Air Flow Sensor. it senses how much air is entering the TB and how much gas to send to the cylinders for combustion.
