hey. my alternator belt broke. I need to remove the main belt to put the alt. belt on.

Do i just loosen the tensioner bolt, and it will slide off???
any tips???

that is about all there is to it... loosen up the front belt and slide it off... then loosen up the tensioner on the alternator and push it towards the motor and slid on the new belt... pull it back and tighten it up again... then do the same with the front belt... and it should be done...
