Spitz that is just a lower control arm problem. How about a lower center of gravity that is achieved when you lower the car. The lower center of gravity is what ultimately achieves the increase in handling. It is true that when your car is lowered that you do run into some slight problems, but its nothing that can't be fixed or even upgraded. SO basically you are saying that a lowered car only need .5 inches and you can have great handling. Well As I have stated I feel that is wrong and if you can only lower the car .5 inches and get over 1.0 g's on a skid pad or go through the slalom at over 69+ mph then I would have done that. But it is almost impossible to gain those # on only .5 inches of drop.

Sorry for the long post.

240fan- you are exactly right. you do not need springs. shocks are much more important. if you really want a stiffer ride w/o worrying about lowering the car too much, you can check out ground controls at http://www.ground-control.com/gcapguid.htm they are pricey, but worth it IMO. but since you already spent too much on the agx's IMO, you might be happy with just shocks.

Import- i receiced my information from a teamof professional subaru tuning guys (and the info is universal, not just for sube's). i'm pretty sure they're not lying. the benefit you get from lowering your car only enough for the control arms to be horizontal far outweights any benefit you get with a lower center of gravity. the 240 is already low as hell stock anyway.

this is exactly what i'm saying. it is a popular misconception that the lower the car the better.
