boot ripped
boot ripped
I'm not sure whats it called... but on the front driver side there is something like a CV boot there... well mine just rip.. is it safe to be driving around like that for awhile? what exactly is that? thanks
that boot holds oil inside of it to lubricate whats inside. if you run it too long it will start making a knocking noise. i suggest you go up to autozone and buy the stuff to replace it, its under $100 dollars and you can do it yourself so you should be good to go!
It's the tie-rod end boot. It's a lot cheaper than $100 to fix too - I wrote a how to guide on it:
