Attn Site Administrator: Can the Newbie section be moved to the top of the page? That may reduce the question sin the General section.

HAHAHA

I don't answer a question if it is retarded. I don't blast people for being new, I do blast people for being STUPID. I kinda like the expression, think before you speak..... In this case it should be, think before you type.
What ever your perogitive is I really don't care, especially if it isn't pertinent to learning something I don't already know.
But eh welcome to the forums, I'm always around to help as long as it isn't a stupid question.

With all the whining aside, I am pumped to learn what everyone else has to offer. I want a capable car that I can shut down the muscle car people that act like Japanese cars are slow no matter what. I think it's cool when you can make a car with half as much motor more powerful and reliable, and still be able to drive it in 5 o'clock traffic without it overheating in this Texas inferno I call home.

FYI: turbo charged 4 bangers will over heat just as easily as overly built v8's, if you are runnin more than enough boost in that texas heat.

Hate to get even more off topic, but how much is "more than enough boost"? And how well does that amount of boost hold up to climate changes? The weather in this state really is insane. Two days ago it was 80 outside, now it's 40.

there is no absolute number there. even then you havent given enough info to reduce some of the variables. its more than just boost, do you have an inadequate cooling system. even an inadequate oiling system can lead to some minor cooling change in temp. give more info.

by the way buggyboy, its not so much the motor that will out do a big v8 its the money it took. with enough money either v8 or i4 or any other config. for that matter will put out more than significantly less money.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to buggyboy~ I was gonna say something about the post, but it wasn't going to be very nice so I just decided against it.
