True, True..... and here is another, the members that go off on somebodies ride about how rice it is, wheels offset suck, that trunk wing stinks...etc....Them one day they post a pic of their ride and it looks they just drove thru a crash derby, different color car or have pink rims on or their 240 is sitting on blocks outside their trailer.
.....bunch of wannabes...

Okay after going through this ENTIRE thread and reading a bunch of stuff all lf you had to say, here's my end:

1. I'll start with this simple fact - EVERY ONE OF US WAS A NOOB (or may still be) AT ONE POINT IN TIME. None of us (not just all of you, I'm adding myself in this too) were born with everything we know about 240sx's, or cars in general, or life for that matter. Don't tell me none of you learned absolutely nothing by being on a forum. Or is it that because you've been here longer than your typical "newb" that all of a sudden that gives all of you a right to post bull**** like this? WTF is wrong with you people... If someone new comes in, and they're obviously a newb -then fine. Deal with it. Is there really a reason to make a thread about it other than to talk ****? ****ing cocky bastards, go do it somewhere else. There's enough of the other forums to be complete *******s, why the **** do you all have to start it here?

2. Sorry, but starting a thread with the first paragraph stating:

"I swear half you Fuc%ing idiot noobs are getting me a headache. You better hope you bought your Gdamn 240 to drive and just not to drift with it."

...is not only an empty threat but a perfect example of a bad impression that can affect all of us 240sx owners. You're getting a headache? No one makes you log on to the forum and no one makes your hand click the newb threads but yourself. If you can't stand dealing with newbs, then don't ****ing read the threads and don't go for "mod status" on this or any other forum because like it or not, that's part of the job. And so what if some newb buys a 240sx 'just to drift'. WTF are you gonna do about it? Nothing - because you can't. All you can do is post, just like the newbs you can't stop.

3. Yes, I get sick of it too sometimes, and you've all seen threads where my first post to those "jdm tyte s15 conversion sr I'm a drifter king" posters pretty much breaks the poster down, but at least I'm not a total ******* about it. I question their motives, I question their experience with driving RWDs, but I don't do something idiotic like straight out assuming that they're dumb or that their intentions are crap because they don't agree with mine. to the ones who's posts plainly show that they're on the bandwagon, they make themselves look like an idiot on their own. To the ones who answer direct and explain their intentions, you'll usually see me reply in their favor.

4. Speaking of bandwagons, everyone who keeps *****ing and complaining about it can just shut the **** up already. The bandwagon is and has already been here for a couple of years now. Get over it - acting like a girl whining and whining won't change the fact. How about speding more time learning something or teaching the genuine 240sx owners on the boards something, instead of wasting bandwidth and time by constantly complaining about something that will only end with time? Or is that just too much to expect?

And all the complaints about F&F3 - none of your *****ing will change the fact that the movie will come out, whether you like it or not. Get over that too.

5. What the hell happend anyways? The forums are supposed to bring all 240sx owners together. To be honest, a bunch of you are starting to act like the same Honda/Acura crowd that some of us use as examples of what not to be. All this cockfighting lately just makes this forum start looking like ****. In fact it's more annoying than dealing with a newb. At least some newbs come here to learn - they don't spend every day posting up a bunch of *****ing. Jesus... everyone here (mostly) needs to stop and think for a ****ing second or 2.

6. I'm a mod. So is s13 240. In fact we're probably the only two who are moderating consistently. If you guys/girls have problems with newbs or some other stupid and probably pointless posts, then YOU TELL US. Don't sit there and ***** all day - while you're all *****ing, we're spending our free time moving threads, locking threads, editing crap (like this thread right here), and keeping newbs on check - without being total *******s to them. You guys shouldn't be *****ing at all - it's easy to complain, it's harder to refrain - and that's what we have to do because as mods we are representatives of the forum and we are to be looked upon when assistance is needed.

As if you think it's easy being babysitters sometimes to you guys?

Damnit. Some of you guys need to grow up already. Before most of you were on this board (most of you complaining now) this was a nice place. Before I was a mod, Hyjynx and Catharsis and StanBo handled everything. Now it's me and S13 240, and we deal with the newbs, but now we even have to deal with this? God damn you guys are disappointing... it almost makes me want to not come here anymore... the OT section just got filled with pointless wastes of time, 1/2 of you ****ers who consider yourselves "not newbs" went and killed the Good Times thread, and now this.

Good ****ing game, guys. Way to go for bringing the forum down a level.

I repeat - this is a stupid thread; but I'm not closing it. I want to see what you all have to say now.

was wondering when l2aine was going to chime in... wasn't expecting the 6-pt doctorate thesis though Let's all just chill out...~ "Can't we all just get aaaaaloooong?" hell it'd all get a whole lot friendlier if we just mitigated the use of the word "newb" or any iterations of it...

I wish I could quote that but it is too freakin long.......
Secondly my biotching and complaining is more directed to the moderation more than the noobie's. Now speaking with more professional people that build cars for a daily living and make it there lifestyle rather than there hobby, they don't even consider coming to most forums such as this one due to uneducated questions. It lacks prestiege, and intellegence which is something that we need to bring to this forum. It deminishes character, and prevents the guys that really have the (know how) from coming to this forum imparticular. I know this to be my major beef, especially when speaking to most professionals, there responce is (why waste my time and effort on questions that are so uneducated to begin with). Really it makes sence, from a professionals standpoint.
If I could chose a forum I chose club 240, not for the idiot questions, but more for the fact that it is a much more relaxed enviornment to try and learn unlike NICO, and ZILVIA. Where sometimes the arguements and rebuddles prevent people from seeing the truth.
On a positive note I have seen moderators like s13 240 actually closing the threads that noobs start and telling them to (SEARCH), which is something that you should do Raine instead of saying "Why don't you ask PAul WAlker"... Don't get me wrong it is hillarious and I get my kicks, but at the same time you still allow half of the nonsence B.S threads to run there course and sometimes make it back to the top of the forum, when they should of just been closed to begin with. Point is this thread overall takes up less space than all the nonsence that has ran it's course through club 240 through out the years. Shure people are entitled to freedom of speech, but when it prevents more educated answers from being presented maybe then it shouldn't be seen as a thread that should be shown. The lack of a thread should just be closed and moved to the bottom of the list, so that the more educated questions could stay to the top of the list. If you think about it, it is much more logical, and maybe it will bring more (know how) people to the forum that can actually help us with intellegent Q&A's, rather than (hey what 240 should I buy) thread.
On another note I don't mind F&F3 from coming out, it is a free country after all, and I can't wait to laugh at how much the movie isn't reality, but rather Hollywood. What will be even funnier is the little kiddie's that will actually emulate what they see on the big screen, and more than likely I will see it on the local news report.
Besides movies are nothing more than marketing in this day and age, I wouldn't mind seeing what people are trying to market next....

- Your *****ing was to the mods? Then PM it next time, don't make a big *** thread that is obviously complaining about newbs. If it's about me or the mods in general, why didn't you say that in the first place? Sure.

-If I were to close every single thread just by the content of the first post, then you know what? This forum would end up like Zilvia.

- So you spoke to Professionals, and they said this and that. And then? Does this forum say "for professionals only?" No - it's a public forum, it's open registration, anyone can join, whether they're supernewbs from the east or know-it-alls from up north. I don't know maybe it's just a matter of opinion here, but to me a true professional does not look down on anyone or anything that shares the same interest as the professional in question. IMO "professionals" who give that "I don't waste my time blah blah blah" are just cocky and think they're too good to even lend a helping hand out to anyone they consider "inferior".

- BTW CowboyTurbo, I am chill. I have more patience to deal with newbs more often to have to post a thread about it venting my crap.

- I've never closed threads telling the newbs to search? I've never closed threads that are pointless? Wow you're not looking.

I'll start then with this one.

Kay.
