did I just lose $50?

Well, my digital speedometer in my car has been out and.. I pretty much need that to work.. soo today I went to a junkyard and found a 240sx with an analog speedometer and a nice dash ( mine is cracked.. bad) so the thing that im reading about is that I need a DOHC cluster and the one I bought is SOHC :\ is this true? if so is there anyway I could mod it to work and would it be worth it(money wise) any help is appreciated, thanks.

if your bought a sohc cluster, switch out the tach from your old cluster with your newly aquiered tach, only like 3 screws or something, very easy.

what about a DOHC on a SOHC. Will that work? I'm talking about analog clusters.
