Dim Headlights~ bad electricity flow

My headlights seem to be getting dimmer and dimmer these past few weeks. I'm fairly certain that it's because the electricity flow going to them is getting worse (the bulbs are pretty much new and it's not like the headlight housing is getting dramatically yellower). I'm about to go trace the wires tommorrow to check the connections but I wanted to ask you guys what else I should look for...?

maybe battery ... maybe loose wires, also check the casing around the wires all the way around. There maybe a skinned off piece thats loosing power?
Did you tighten the bulbs? lol

You guys are all wrong after a while the lights will start to get really bright on high rev and the battery will start to go dead.....
Typical situation for a new VOLTAGE REGULATOR and 8AWG ground wire.........

agreed with the ground wire... or if your OEM wiring is crusty old, a couple of relays and some fresh wire will really brighten up your headlights.
