Why would I be mad at a liar whos car is uglier and makes less power than mine. I must admit I always wanted to be a pimp so maybe you can let me know how thats really going. You need to go ask your Hos where youre money is seeing how you couldn't pay resale for that cat and all.

I only give advice if it is usefull and I personally have an experience good or bad with it. How many times a day do you call someone ignorant because they ask a question that one of your brilliant publications that you read so much has an answer for. I'll gladly keep it to what I know as long as I'm not made to feel like an idiot for asking a question.

Vinnie is tryin to "educate" the people here who dont get that a 3" pipe doesnt really help a N/A car. If your post isnt helping this thread, then DONT POST!

theres already too many "fights" in this forum, go join on of those if you wanna keep arguing...

yeh it looks a million times better then stock but like Vinnie was sayin, 3" is making you loose torque/hp

but for Turbo setups its good cus the turbo is giving you the HP/Torque back

Hey Slidin240 would you go to school if your teachers never graduated High School. His so called Education is Miseducation because he has no facts only theorys. I've done both and gave my 2 cents about my experiences. In his book I'm ignorant. You don't have to put on a 3in pipe if you don't want but why am I Ignorant because I tried it. And had positive results btw.

are your running Turbo? if so then yeh go ahead use a 3" but for N/A 3" is actually making you loose the power. Like Vinnie said in other threads, if a co. says they tested it and it got good HP/Torque gains, its mostly BS. If you believe them you might as well believe infomercials claiming to do what they say, but there are always flaws....

If you've got the 3" thats great show us some Dyno sheets proving the power gains...

Im goin 3" too but im also going to have a KADE-T setup.

how can you loose power? that doesn't make any since.. oh well, i never noticed a drop in power, if anything it just stayed the same.. I really don't see how putting 3" ehxuast could make the engine put out less power, does an open DP loose power, or what?

k well my wording wasnt perfect but what i should of said was that your gains arent what the manufacturers say they are. most of the time its not even close to what the manufacturer says.

but then again who says they use stock cars and just swap the stock exhaust with theirs?

A friend of mine got his car Dyno'd wen he first got it and then dyno'd it again after he put in a cold air intake and full catback. it barely did anything for him (not even close to what the manufacturer said it would be)

Slidin, if you're relying on Vinnie as a source of information, you should probably choose another role model.

Although he claims to know, he doesn't know a damn thing. Purchasing a pacesetter exhaust and tuning a AFC without a dyno or even a wideband 02 sensor is one of te saddest things I've ever heard - especially when the 'tuner' doesn't even see the problem with it.

Call the manufacturers' claims bogus... whatever. I consider the least reliable manufacturer / magazine / shop to be infinitely more reliable than vinnie.
