1) Who's Dyno sheet
2) What other mods on on the car?
3) That sheet is inconclusive, considering all you've said that was it's a 3" exhaust. No indication on the car, or anything.

It proves nothing even if you "see gains". We know nothing else of the car, or what has been done.

From the name on the chart, I'm betting that dyno sheet is Alex Chang's - and he works for 5Zigen if I remember correctly.

But he has always been thorough with his dyno tests and I will bet that dyno is stock compared to the 3" with all else equal.

Anyone know how to get in touch with Alex? Is he still on these forums?

I consider Alex a reliable source... and would have accepted his results even if they showed the predicted power loss. I am still curious to see what a 2.5" system would do in comparison to the 3" system.

Yeah...There are a few more dynos out there that I have seen you just have to look for them. Thats just the first I found. Convinced me that 3 inch might work well...Im still going 2.5 though to keep the noise down

Here are my comments.
First he used a silencer and shoved it up the pipe, usually that is half the diameter of the muffler outlet itself.
Secondly I recomended to slidin 240 that it is fine to use with the stock header which he has also.
The one thing I want to comment on is the weak torque curve, it drops significantly in the higher RPM range and it doesn't look very smooth at all.
He also used an intake system to get those numbers.
What type of intake did he use?
Cold air? I think thats what he meant with the CAS?
He also ran it with the engine cold. When the engine was hot those numbers dropped, he wont get those type of gains on the street.

I'm pretty shure they make both, but who knows if they made it a year ago that is about how old the dyno is right?

If you've got your car tuned, the gains are going to be insignificant either way...with a properly sized exhaust, you and I both know that he could be making more power out of that system.

I know what you mean man, that curve wasn't smooth at all, it needs alot of work.
My beef is that he also ran the engine cold, so was it also in open or closed loop? When the engine ran hot it dropped significantly.
