good deal or not
hello everyone, im chris from Md. i have bee surfing the forum the last few days and really enjoy what i have been reading. there seems to be a lot of well informed people on this site.
with that in mind, i need some help. i am new to the world of imports and have decided to get one. i have been looking at 240sx's and have to have one. i was looking to spend around $5,000 or under and do abot $5,000 in mods, body, paint and engine. this is all very confusing but i may have found a way to get around it. please take a look at this and tell me what you think. i need to know if the product is as good as it seems, if the parts used are of good quality and if the price is worth it.

If you feel that spending $10K on a 10 year old Nissan with either a USED Sr20, or a USED de/ w/ turbo kit & no warranty, is OK with you then why not?
If you even considered it, I would say go for it, if you like it.
If you want it buy it. If it meets the criteria you are looking for get it.
If you are asking are there are better deals, ofcourse there are, but YOU need to find them, look on cars.com, autotrader.com & search the forums.

too much for my taste ... i'm getting my '89 for 1,200 only needs a $250 door skin.
then after that its all mods.
I also don't trust ebay for anything, I know people who've gotten broken subs, and I know I guy who recieved a piece of rust in place of his car.

There are better deals and the price for that car probably will go up. Why dont you go on 240sx forums and look under Vehicles for Sale. I think private seller is always better because they tend to lower the cost :-P So look around first.
