okay guys, i recently finished up my swap from sohc to dohc and i got one of those ebay intakes,, well anyway the intake comes with two connections on it and i only found one hose to connect to one of those connections ,, the other one , which is a real tiny connector, i have no hose to plug into.

Can anyone hint as to where the hose is suppposed to come from that hooks up to there?

cool, thanks i'll see if i can get that hooked up. I'm hoping the throttle response will be a lot better with it hooked up

 

i looked today and that hose is already hooked up to something.
there are however four hoses underneath the throttle body, the two in the middle arent hooked up (one has a white sticker on it and one has a red stripe on it)... Kinda hard to explain,, i guess i'll take a pic of what i got and post it then...

 

You should have gotten an Injen with directions withh all that money you saved on the purchase and swap

 

the ebay intake pipe has the proper fittings, its just that since i did the swap from sohc to dohc there are some vacuum lines that might be missing or rearranged, i really dont know, but the ebay intake has a small fitting at the bottom of it. The small hoses that i've found around that area under the throttle body are these hoses which i dont think would hook up to it, but someone please correct me if i'm wrong



if someone would send me a pic of their hooked up intake under the throttle body area that would be a GREAT HELP. Again, the small hose that is hooked up to the throttle body is hooked up to a line close by but i cant get a real good pic of it right now since its dark out. I'll try to get a pic up by tomorrow. Thanks to those that are helping me out!

 

okay i got a chance to look at the hoses today that are under the throttle body. The line coming from the bottom of the tb goes to a line right next to it and then from there, theres a line next to that one that goes all the way to the carbon canister. Does this help?
