Intake Problem

Hey guys. I have an Injen Intake system with mass airflow and everything.. my problem is its mounted about 6-8 inches of the ground.. Im thinkin of taking of that cold air extension and mounting the filter right after the mass ariflow sensor where the stock one would be. Good or Bad idea ? PICS

There won't really be a big difference in anything if you take it off and mount it regularly, less chance of sucking up water in large puddles but thats about it...

I can't find a picture of mine right now, but thats how the Injen intake comes. The cold air part is an extension that is sold separately. It was designed to be used with or without the extention piece.

Short ram = better response. Long ram = greater horsepower...
