Wink Just an idea..

So it is 11:20 at night and I am bored. I was wondering how cool it would be to have a 240sx magazine. I mean, they got mustang magazines, honda magazines, and jeep magazines but I have never seen a 240sx magazine. I think it would be pretty cool if us d00ds could get a magazine started and sell across america

yea it would rock, but i dont think it would happen unless they start bringing the S15 in the U.S. or untill they sell 240's @ major nissan dealerships.

Well maybe we should all write letters to nissan saying they should bring the S15 to America or make a new 240sx or something!

If you guys were to really explore this idea I would help. In order to create a magazine one must understand how much of a risk they are taking. It's a lot of up front costs with hopes that mayb 5-7% of your target market will respond. It's also a lot of variable costs at first which is dangerous. If you havent noticed this is what I plan to do in life and many of my family member ars also involved in print and other types of media....So who's in

doubt it would happen...Honda knows how much they could make if they would bring a JDM (LHD of course) ITR over here (DC2 or DC5). Nissan knows how much they would make if they brought any gen Skyline over here. My point is...the Japanese hate us...

heh, In fact the reason the S15 didnt come out here is because of the SUV craze that happned during the late 90's. The older 240SX (S13 and the 180SX) did extremely well the years they were released. But once 94+ hit then the thing to get was a Explorer or a CR-V (SUVs) Because of that the popularity of 2 door sport compacts didnt do very well. So when the S14 came on sale in the states it didnt do nearly as well as the older versions. So nissan decided that it would waste more money if this continued thus pulled out the 240SX and ending it's run in the states. If the craze never took place and the S14 really sold, then I am pretty sure the S15 would've came out here. Probably with the same 2.4 Litter KA DE or another engine in devopment at that time (I believe it was the Sentra version of the SR20, non turbocharged) Lately SUV sales are starting to drop and more and more people are getting into the compact cars again, this might mean that another silvia might come out here as of yet. But if the S16 does ever come out, it will probably become a Infinity (like it's cousin the 350GT Skyline) Nissan has also announced that the GTR will be making it's way here, Im not sure if it's the R35 or just a US bred skyline, but I do know that the GTR is coming

2007 GTR

Also there have been a lot of disscusion of the S16 coming out, this is a view of what It might look like

S16 Silvia
