Just an oh so crazy idea.... AWD?
Ok, so unfortunately I've wrecked my precious SR20 swapped 240SX (which everyone in the world and their grandmothers seem to have now). It will be along ways before I get another project 240, or the money to get an RB, but in the meantime I always plan out what I want to do.
I saw an awd 240 project a few years back on eBay and sparked my attention... So I was thinking of going with an RB26 this time to be a little different from the "in" crowd, and to change it up even further yet, I was pondering of an awd hybrid.
But first, I was wondering if anyone knows if the front differential from the RB26 would line up on an S13 chassis to where they should be (does the front outdrive shafts come close to the front suspension when the engine is dropped into the car? Can't really explain it much better... ) I know some of you have done RB26 swaps so someone must have tinkered with the thought!
Yeah, I am a fabricator/welder and have access to my father's welding shop so thats nothing I'm worried about.... the question again is with the engine in the car, do the outdrives (where the front axles bolt to) come close to where they need to be?
Any input from someone who KNOWS (no bashing on this idea please....) will be greatly appreciated!

im not sure but i would like to think that if they do fit but ... you might have to widen the front as the gtr's are a wider car... if you can do this as well as build the engine a smidge then you are my friend!!
