hi..i've been on the forum for a while now and now i finally own a 93 s13 coupe. i'd like to do a motor swap because i got one with a bad head. i was wondering if there's any difference in the obd1 and the obd2 ka's. and if i was to do a swap to an obd2 what would i need(harness, ecu, etc). what year does the obd2 starts. my cousin has a 95 and he says his is an obd2 but i'm not sure. if i was to do a swap to a obd2 will i have a smog issue(cali emission laws sucks)...i've tried to use the search button but it keeps on showing a "no page display" error....thanks in advance

 

OBDII is started on later 1995 models. To do the OBDII to OBDI swap, you will need to swap out your intake manifolds, I know theres something I'm forgetting so I'll come back in a bit to say more lol
