Clutch maybe. And you need to do some better searching,. There's tons of threads out there on rims alone. What fitment is best and such. With regards to cams, the KA 91 cams should have come up. That or PDM, they make some good cams.

...just found JWT cams, Ill use those...

I know someone who can totally vouch for the JWT quality

Ill also go with some racinghart 17" 4lugs


17x8(wide enough??) 35 offset

Will these look and fit well on a stocker?

I dont really like the idea of 35 offset on every wheel

What is the biggest size I can go and not be staggered?

Just got a brand new(to me) 1996 240SX!!

Hurrah!

The mechanic had a full bushing replacement set ready, the shocks were just recently replaced and the engine and tranny are mechanically sound

SWEET

what 2 mods should I do first, heres my list

catco cats,
HKS hi-power exhaust,
hotshot headers,
cusco sways,
cusco struts,
injen intake with CA extension,
or UR pullies

35 offset is kinda too high for that rim size. They'll be a little sunken in. What kind of shocks are in it? Stock? If stock, I'd say you change that indead. Again, those questions about the rims have been answered before. Search around man.

Engine
Intake:
Injen short Ram (AEM shows no difference between SR and CAI)
Exhaust:
Tanabe G Power Medallion
Cams:
None yet looking for a 91(longer opening) and they are stock so they will be cheap.
Header:
DC Sports (coming in soon)

Suspension
Springs:
Tein S.Tech
Shocks:
Kyb Agx
I may soon change these out for Tein Super Streets
Control Arms:
C Tune

Wheels:
BSA 214 17x7.5 really nice fitment
Tires:
Kumho 711

car has 115k on it and I dynoed it at 135hp - 150 tq

oh yeah the first thing that usually goes on 240s is the EGR valve/solenoid make sure to test thatout
