My car is running like crap...help!!

I need some help, I have a 93 with like 192K miles and fairly recently its just been running like crap.

it idles really low, like down to 300 and often dies, it often dies when i take a quick corner and brake a little harder or something, sometimes it will just die every time I brake.

Ever since i've owned it, i've ran 91 octane, i just replaced the fuel filter to no avail, and replaced the O2 sensor also doing nothing, anyone have any ideas?

Idle Air Control Valve.

Pull off the larger hose on your intake piping, near the radiator hoses.

Use seafoam or spray this stuff meant for mass airflow sensors (not carb cleaner!!!) into it.

^
that will help if it is dirty. if that doesn't help you'll need to remove it and check the resistance. if it's good it will read about 10 ohms.

Mine was doing the same thing and it ended up being the M.A.F (mass air flow) connector.

a bad or dirty maf can cause these problems too. so will a(or all) dirty injector, weak fuel pump, poor ground, weak battery, bad alternator, faulty ignition system......the list is long but i always recommend the cheap and easy
fixes first.

Or run the codes, see if it throws anything back at you.
