Ok so i get 550 inj, z32 maf, and safc. Start the car with a 2 in and 6 out, its runs great...then i go and get it tuned and get back home, start the car and it rruns like ****! (i did get dissapointing results which i believe reflect a problem) i notice the bov is blowing air at idle, so i fix this. Im assuming this is what causing my crappy idle and performance. Well i fixed it today and the car still idles and runs like crap. I dont know if the tune is just that ****ty or what but something is wrong. Also i dont know if this attributes to anything, But i noticed for the first time, oil came out of that little nipple on the bottom of the throttle body ( i believe its for the stock sidemount). And my vaccuum is lower than usual but all hoses are connected. So please people enlighten me!

 

Bad MAF maybe? ( Mine did that ) Idled like S**T untill i replaced my MAF, or make sure your O rings on your Injectors are not leeking.........what do you have the SAFC set to ( On Low/High )??

 

so ppl say 550's are 2 big for safc maybe they r right and some ppl say 550 is fine with safc maybe they are wrrong. but fuel is ur problem

 

Yea but can the maf just go bad like that, i mean it idled and everything fine before the tune....and also vaccuum is like 15 instead of the normal 20, im gona make a vaccuum test tomorrow.

Hi: 1000(-12) 2000(-13) 3000(-17) 4000(-24) 5000(-28) 6000(-30) 7000(-28) 8000(-30)

Low: 1000(-16) 2000(-20) 3000(-17) 4000(-17) 5000(-18) 6000(-18) 7000(-19) 8000(-17)

Low 10% and high 50%

550s are fine on an safc, they are not the problem... check your orings, maf, o2 sensor, water temp sensor etc

 

ok so heres what i have done:

boost leak test - good
compression test - 140 all across
new spark plugs - good
tested coil packs - good
checked all vaccuum lines - good
no smoking at all

car still runs like crap and is extremely slow...sounds like a bad misfire or like its running on 3 cylinders..

Now i am completely stumped, anymore ideas people before i take it to a shop and get ripped off??

 

just to let everyone know, i finally got my car fixed. Apparently an injector wasnt dialed in correctly which was causing cyl #2 to no receive any fuel. Thanks for the help.
