There's 2:
1. The timing chain guide (on the driver's side of the motor) chips and breaks into your timing chain- hear alot of ticking? congrats, you need to go get a timing chain set.
2. There was actually a Recall on our seatbelts- the fasteners break/ get caught & won't release.

i think there is a time limit. and I also believe the recall was for the s13. do the seatbelts on s14's have the button 'on top' as it were? if so then yall might have a recall too... but i'm fairly certain there is a limit. (a GM mech friend of mine said their time limit was 5 years or so. someone could call a dealer & ask)

okie.. you don' have to worry about your seatbelts coming lose in an accident then 2lane. and to Darch- There's a $60 set on ebay DO NOT buy it. it's not made relyably. get one from mossy parts or courtesy parts .com ... there's a ton of other relyable dealers out there too i'm certain.
