Thumbs up Please:give me some advice!

Hello, everyone! I am current looking at a 93 240sx SE couple with 150000 miles on it but with about 30000 miles on the rebuild egnine! It has all the options for the SE model I believe! Well, it is a stick! Owner asking for $3500, is it worth it? Personally, I think is too much! KBB said the car worth about $2500. Well, do u think is worth it? Or how much would u buy it? People in So Cal please give me ur thought! Thx!

umm... that is what i am thinking about! $500? Still too much! I should be about $2500. I hope I can lower $1000 or even more! But, so many people want 240sx, i am not sure I can get the deal! Anyway, thx for advice! I am kind of poor, so really cann't make more $2500!

Test drive it to make sure the rebuilt engine is up to par.

MAX price I would pay, is 3k and thats it(if everything is in great condition)

Try and get it for 2700 or 2400

try to swindle down to 2000 to 2500, imo 3k for a 93 is pretty high up

maybe they're trying to capitalize on the whole "drift thing" thinking that an S13 coupe is like some rare car all of a sudden

I agree with the rest - about $2500-2800k, but definitely test drive the car to maybe see why the seller thinks it's worth $3500.

look at breaks, boots, look at the heads check if ther black or gold lookin, meanz it mite burn oil, check for missing things like spare, all the fluids, run all the gears see if they all go in smooth... like my clutch is kinda gay because the person put it wrong n it doesnt push back up the clutch after u dont drive it for a long time u have to pull it back up but after that its ok... check for speakers, turn the wheels all the way one direction see if it makes noise when u pull it back the other way... those things can bring it down a lot.... and when u get the ask if u can put ur own price on the title to release it so that way u can just say u got the car for like 400.. thats what i put on mine ; )

but 2500 soundz ok for a 93 not 3000 for a 11 year old car...
tires n stuff too count start naming a lot ob things you need to change n drop the price
