power windows not working

i have a 93 240sx. when i first got the car the button to push up the right window on the left side came off and then just a couple of days ago i found the button in my trunk. so today i went to the store to get some super glue to put the button back on. well i was being retarded and not thinking right and put alittle too much glue on the button and i still put it on and some of the glue leaked through and now my right window wont go up. i kept messing with it to get it loose and after acoupe minutes i finally got the botton loose and it moves like normal now but i wont give any power to the window. so i kept messing with it more and it finally moved the window up. and then me being an idiot i kept messing with it to find out why it went up then and i accediently moved the window down and now i cant get it to move up anymore. anyone know how to move up a power window? its saturday night and its supposed to rain tonite and rain tommorow. theres acouple of 240s in the junkyard that have powerwindows but i cant go to the junkyard until monday. any replys will be helpful.

I'm probably posting a little late, but check the fuse and if its fine you may need to get a new switch (which you probably should have done in the first place instead of trying to super glue it back together). You can probably pick one up at a local nissan dealer. As for dealing with the rain tape a clear garbage bag in your window frame. It will look ghetto, but atleast your interior won't get wet.

ok, so i didnt know what else to do with my car so i took it to the shop for them to tell me what was wrong. they said the glue had nothing to do with it and that the regulator had gone bad( i guess it was just a coiscidence) and it will cost $400 and take 3-5 days for the part to get in. before i took it to the shop i went to the junkyard and found 2 240's with manuel windows. anybody know how to convert it from power to manuel windows and is it hard? i think if i do that it will be cheaper than $400 and i wont have to worry about a regulator and motor and all of the electrical stuff breaking again.

Why not just get a regulator from someone and swap it out yourself. The door panel pops off easy and everything is right underneath.

I believe you just have to pop off the door panel, unplug the old one and plug the new one in and put the panel back on.
