Really weird headlight problem

I've done nothing to the car for a while, so I don't think it's electrical. I'm new to the flip-up light thing (S13 of course). My car driver headlight decided to come on, by itself, but still in the down position. Does anybody know what could have caused this? The light is kinda dim and almost looks like I have an underbody glow kit or something. F-in' weird. Is this an indication of the light needing replaced? I have no idea! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind. I got it. If this happens to anybody else, just disconnect the battery cables. I left mine off for about 15 minutes before reconnecting. I don't know what it was, but doing this corrected the problem. Weird huh?

Yeah, I think it was pocessed (sp?) also! Maybe in the process I performed an exorcism.

Maybe my 240 was just upset with me. It's a daily driver and I had to go out of town for a few days on business, so I couldn't drive her. I think she just missed me and wanted some attention.
