removing stock shift knob!?
Use one of those adjustable pressure wrenches, you may need to tear off some of the rubber around the bottom of the shift ****(which will most likely rip off when turning the wrench anyways). Get the wrench to grab on the inner shell of the shift **** and put a little torque to it. Shift **** in my 95 was a
to get off.
to get off.

like i said, use some vice-grips to hold the shifter. (the metal pole under the ****)
And then yank the *** counter-clockwise until it comes loose.
thats the ONLY way it went on, and the ONLY way it will come off.
It is a threaded item, you can't mess it up by doing that.
Don't be a pansy, use some muscles. Making 4 posts about *****ing and whining aren't going to help.
I already helped you out, the ONLY way is to twist it.

remember u were new once too. dont bash the kid
lol, i still am new. Huge noob, i don't know jack ****.
But, i made two posts prior to that.
Making posts in a forum isn't going to help get the **** off.
Its not rocket science, you twist it.
I diddn't know that it was an issue, apparently from reading outher's threads. All i had to do was put some muscle into mine.
I figured maybe he is a little skin and bones kid, too weak to twist it, afraid using all his strength would break it.
Just trying to tell him stop being afraid, and yank that sucker off, regardless of anything else, thats the only way.

Well honestly i got mine off a different way. I twisted the fruck out of the thing with vice grips and all and couldn't for the life of me get it off. So after a friend tried and failed, we grinded the little black plastic bas7ard to pieces. Took a while but it kinda felt good to shread that POS to dust.
lefty loosy, righty tighty.
i should have a 300ZX leather wrapped shift **** somewhere if you need it. lmk
