your thinking about his way to hard man. its a heat shield held in with a bunch of 10mil bolts. jack the car up when the motors not hot. and remove it. it'll stop all of that rattling and whatnot. then your good to go.

Besides, you dont need the heat shield anyways, so might as well get rid of it.

After doing this....will this 100% stop that problem? Like hmm I'm just not sure if its "clicking" on what me and everyone are thinking of....Like when I drive right by a car then shift gears I can hear the sound barrier off that car and it sounds like someone ripping paper except louder I guess.

Seriously, clicking from your car? it could be A THOUSAND DIFFERENT THINGS, have a friend rev the car while you look and listen. We can't really help you here or you give for sure answers for obvious reasons

Okay, if its your heat shield making the noise and you take it off it will get rid of the problem. If you take it off and it does not fix the problem then it is something else and you have not hurt the car, and we can go from there. Just get rid of the heat shields. Now.

Ok last question before I "try" and take it off......Is their a reason why its on their if everyone has it off? Can any bad news happen while it is off? Say I put some aftermarket product around it and heat gets to the steel and starts melting or something I dunno. And its off but its still making that noise.

could be alot of things, just go through and eliminate possibilities. one thing to consider is that when the car is in neutral there is no load on the engine. heck it could just be your shifter bushing or clip

Well I dont think it is any of the heat shields since its not clicking at 3000RPM...just like grinding for like less than a second.Whether I shift or not. Also if I am pass 3000RPM and slowing down without changing say 3rd to 2nd, it makes it again right when it hits that 3000RPM mark.

Taking off the engine heat shield will absolutely not hurt the car. My hatchback never had one and I owned that car for a year. I cant speak for the other shields, but I am absolutely sure that taking the header heat shield off will cause no damage.

look underneath the car, it's pretty easy to spot. it's not actually a "downpipe" per se

Dont know what kind of car this is, and on the 240 it will be further up by the engine, but this is generally what it looks like.
