You know what silviadriver, for once I agree with you. Driving recklessly on public roads is a big Sure ive raced once or twice but that was away from civilization, not on a freakin Highway. And worse, you had passengers? Thats stupidity to the max. If you want to speed do it away from other people and risk your own life, but dont drag your friends into this. How would you feel if you lived a 90 MPH crash only finding your best friend dead. Sounds harsh but wake up man. Hope you learn your lesson and realize that it could have been a lot worse.

I guess I'll chime in. I'll agree 75% with fast1 and silviadriver. maybe 80-85%. this will show you to pay attention to what you're doing. heck, we ALL do things outside of "the law" when it comes to driving. i speed 10-15 over when i drive on the freeway. and there is a time and a place for it. the faster you drive, the higher chances of something happening. chances may still be low, but you only realize what you've done AFTER the bad stuff happens.

i get upset at my brother when he does dumb stuff. dumb stuff is when you get 3 tickets in a month. he just got a 2003 wrx. first 2 tickets were non-point tickets, just a total of close to $300. his last one he was doing 63 in 45 on a local cruising road (four lane local highway). lucky he got written up for 5 over, but he's 18 and he's got full coverage, so i bet his insurance with go up even further. definitely not worth it.

i had a friend who was just playing around, but they were drinking. 1 car accident, i think he hit a tree, and his best friend died. how would you feel if that happened? terrible.

my dad was almost killed when some DUMBASS hit him headon. yes, this person was a true dumbass. license suspended 7 times, at that time didn't have a license. someone in the opposing traffic (2 lane road) was making a left turn, rather waiting for my dads side traffic to clear. the person who hit my dad wasn't paying attention so instead of swerving to thr right (side of the road) to avoid the car turning left, he swerved left into oncoming traffic. speedlimit was about 40, and that guy was probably doing about 50. not cool. luckily my dad was driving a replacement car for that day, his regular work car didn't have an airbag and was being worked on. i am so thankful he is alive.

i have issues with people who think they rule the road, mostly because of that. you gotta pay attention to what you do. even if you're alone you can endanger someone else.

unfortunately you're learning the hard way. and yes, it sucks if you have your license taken away till yoiu're 18, as 16-18 love to cruise around with their friends, you'll be missing out on a lot.

if you can get a lawyer, whatever works is cool, just remember there's a time and place for things.

Well said djradam. Threres a time and place for speeding, like your local track! Drinking and cars dont mix so dont do that either (If you do it please ram your head on your car as hard as you can). They should make this thread or a similar thread a sticky on ALL car forums. If it saves one life, its worth it.

i kno im stupid thx for reading
what i dont get is why are you getting all butt hurt and calling people "*******s" for flaming you, when you even asked for it.

do you think people who are gonna flame you are gonna be nice about things?

obviously everybody was once a kid and has done something stupid, but there is a difference..it is the degree of stupidity that one pulls off.

playing baseball in the house vs driving 95 in a 65 zone with 2 other passengers late at night

which one is more stupid?

i did stupid stuff when i was a kid, but nothing to danger othe rpeoples lives or even myself

Thats a load of BS weve all done something that could have hurt us. If we didnt, we couldnt learn from our mistakes. Mika, use this as a learning tool from now on.

P.S. By the way silviadriver why do you always flame people in your sigs? Its not funny and down right conceded. Your not Mr. Perfect. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, take care of ya own buisness and dont worry about anyone elses.

i find it hard to believe that anyone has done something that has at one time endangered someone whether you realized it or not

i said endangered somebodys LIFE

big difference you dont seem to realize again.

danger soembody to hurt them physically, most likely yes, such as scratches cuts bruises etc etc

danger somebody to the ponit where they die? no.

im sure if you were to endanger somebody tot he point where they could be dead, you would remember that no matter how old you are.

lemme quote myself again so you can read

sorry im not stupid enough to do somethign that could kill other people. i take actions for my ownself. its called common sense, you dont need to be a rocket scientist to use it.

seriosuly, i think anyone who have flamed on his kid should just STFU, everyone makes mistakes, and who da hell give u the right to say he's stupid, u'r not perfect... as for speeding, who da hell didn;t speed at some point in thier life?... basically, wat he did wasn;t stupid, it is just normal, but what is stupid is that he got caught, when a con man gets away with something, he's slick, but if he got caught, then he sucked ***** and pretty much f*cked... that's how things goes...

i haven;t gotten a speeding ticket, not once, been driving for 2 years, and i do speed, when i am sure there's no cop around,,, and no i don't speed and wieve throught traffic because that would be blunty stupid, i have been caught speeding once, but the cop let me off because he was in motion and didn;t use a radar, and the reason y i was caugth was because he was driving an suv, and it was all black about 200 feet behind me, so i didn;t think it was a cop,,,

ok, just be careful next time, and be glad it's not a car accident, ... good luck with everything else...

and watever u plan on doin in life that is illegal, then just try not to get cuaght, becuase that;s the only that really matter, hahahah.. u dont want to be on
COPS..

I know Mika said to bring the flames, but i'm not gonna do that. Mika, your life is not ruined. These tickets are a BLESSING. The cop stopped you b4 anything else might've happened. @least u didn't lose ur car like other ppl (not to mention lives @ that).
And for those ppl who are bashing on him, IMO u have no right to say that unless u follow the speed limit all the time. And i doubt any of u do that. We're all human.
