running rich

i got a question can running rich make you smoke from the exhaust at idle?

well when my engine is at operating temp i smoke a bit at idle. i thougt it was that my turbo was leaking oil but i check my oil level alot and it dosnt seem to be getting lower.

i know for a fact im running really rich so i was wondering if the unburnt gas in my exhaust is burning and making smoke.

what color is it? it could just be condensation if it is white. grey/black indicates it running rich. If you are on the stock sr ecu you could have problems with the fuel pressure or possibly the injectors. get a wideband on that sucker.

yes unburnt gas will cause your car to smoke.

the color can be deceptive. if it is bad enough you can smell the gas coming out of the exhaust. if it smells sweet it's coolant and oil will leave build up on the tail pipe.

If the problem is the FPR and I have a JDM adjustable one and also have some mods.
Would more pressure run richier and less pressure run leaner or the opposite??
