seafoam = dead

ok so i got the all hailed legendary seafoam today, put the 1/3 pint or 1/3 bottle into the break booster vacuum line, let it sit for 5, then started the car.. well it did its job but when it was in the car, i could only rev it up to 3g and at that point it was shaking so bad and going voom....voom....voom.....voom

as in it would rev then stop then rev again and so on..

well now the car starts, idles at about 500rpm then dies... WTF

so it pretty much pissed me off, but i sure did get some good looks like whats going on with all the smoke! and the seafoam smoke is grey, after all was done with that i started the car again, and well yea... brown...

also i relpaced my valve cover gasket today also, and whats the deal with only 5.1 to 7.2 lb ft of torque? i think its dumb, you can do that with your hand..

u did not do it rite

you are supposed to have the car running while u pour the seafoam through the brake booster/vacuum hose

u have to keep startin the car and keeping the revs up until it can idle and not die, then let it sit for awhile clearing out the seafoam

no the car was on.. when you pour it in, you can hear the engine wine and drop RPM's.. then you leave it sit for 5 min then start it and let it clean the system out..

but i think the problem is that the voltage over my battery is testing at 12.2v.. when it should be about 15..

so i got some 4gauge cables and am going to re-do them tonight

when i did it, my rpms went up cuz ur pourin petroleum (gas). i had alot of white smoke =\ but after u do this, u need to replace ur sparkplugs and o2 sensor cuz it gets alot of carbon build up on it. maybe thats why ur car is havin trouble.
