Could any body tell me if, that Tornado thing that you put in to the Intake, and Twist air, really Work?, they claim to be a 13 HP Dyno tested increase depending on Mods, Which one of you guys ever tried?

That infocommercial is missleading, if you watch it carefuly you see that truck they dyno the first time dosn't have a cold air intake and then when it gains HP it magicly has one [ and who knows what else] ... so i wouldn't trust that thing.

 

i think it's junk..but my roomate has one in his cavalier...he says he got better gas mileage, that's about it.

 

yeah, but if you have a turbo, its useless

 

I have heard alot of people who bought it had it sucked up the intake...not cool at all.

 

If you've ever seen one in person, you'll note that it's just a stationary piece you stick in the air piping. It doesn't actually spin around.

In my mind it seems like it would actually hinder performance rather than help it. I'll save my money for something worthwhile .

save your money, its garbage. all they say is that it twists the air going into the intake be act as a turbo of sorts. but they don't tell you how a turbo really makes power and that this thing is just an air tiwster, which is really restricting air.

 

I have a Tornado on my 3sgte AWD Nissan Stanza, and it added 45WHP!!!!! Okay, I'm lying. Yeah, the Tornado is full-o-****.
