when i reverse and when i am in first gear my car makes a noise like a chain is dragging on the ground...i'm sorry i can't be more specific, i don't really know all too much about cars
Is it like a scrapping noise, or a rattling noise. also does it sound metallic like two pieces of metal hitting. Is the car a stick or automatic if stick does it go away when you step on the clutch get worse or no change at all.

car is an auto and generally the sound goes away after i pass 10 mph
When the last time you changed the fluid, Or even checked it. Make sure the fluid isnt low anf if its not have the tranny fluid changed. If you have a shop do it, tell them to save your old fluid and watch them do it, Tranny shops are known to give you back someones tore up *** fluid and say you need a rebuild. There should be a couple small pieces of metal meaning normal wear, but if theres alot of small pieces or large shavings you have a problem. Also isnt your car new and under warranty.
