Yeah man I was surprised with the D2's they sell them for $1333.00, but then they allow you to order the D2 with any combination springs upto 21kg!!!!!! Apexi doesn't even offer that. I'm lookling around for some dealers so I can probably get myself a set. Shure the D2's are expensive, but allowing to chose your own spring rate with the suspension, I was SOLD. The dampeners are pretty solid as well. I saw a pair on ebay going for below retail at $1100, with $90 shipping a month ago. Didn't know what they were at that time.

Raine I think the problem is within this thread...
http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...threadid=21061
Technically if I was moderator I would unsticky this crap. It basically put's people under false pretence that the Megan and Apexi are related by the manufacturer. It was all mumbo jumbo started by the thread starter (underground). I realize that this is all crap that he also posted in Zilvia, and Nico. Those forums were smart enough to stop him short......... Honestly that thread shouldn't be a sticky under it's FALSE pretences, and LIES...

Man do I feel bad for all the guys within the last few months that read that thread and possibly even bought a set of the Megans thinking that they were getting a deal. Thanks for locking it Raine I was getting tired of the noobs that were misrepresented trying to back up this false info, it is probably better that it is locked, so that I don't get a headache trying to rebudle...... This may have set club 240 back under false pretences, lets hope that other members can get smart and look out for this CCCCCRRRRRAAAAAPPPPP.

Honestly I bet a set of equally priced Tein Basics would last a lot longer than those Megans... it's funny how a lot of Megan owners say they last... WTF?!?! Megan barely came out with the street coilover last year, and the quote/unquote "race" coilover a few months ago ROFL

most the people i've heard of getting them, and saying they're good, and lasted, only use them for daily driving.. but you're right, they've been out a very short time.. I would say if they last a good 3-4 years, then you have a good product.

I bet if they were to drop their car 3" and go try to autox it, they'd last a session, maybe.

All I can say is treat your car with as much respect as you would treat your girlfriend.
If your the type of guy that takes your girl out too Mc Donalds your relationship obviously wont last that long (hence Megans on your Car), as compared to the guy that takes his girlfriend out to a Jazz/sushi restaraunt ( hence TEIN,KYB,Tokico).
Hopefully that analogy makes sence.

Have you heard much about those Ksport coilovers, or just Ksport in general?

Dunno let me research it and get back too you. I usually with much rarity like going against brand names, if it comes from a subdivision of a reputable company of some sort I usually would think that it's OK. What is the price and what do they offer for that package??????

These. They seem like they'd be a more comfortable ride with a 7kg/5kg spring rate..

these.
Not for $800 that spring rate is awful. I bet you that K stands for Korean.... I'll find out soon enough. But that ebay seller was hyping it up as if it was superior engineering, just like all the Fake adds with Megan..... I wouldn't buy it just based off prior experience with those type of ebay sellers.

Honestly with that spring rate they should go for around $600, well atleast from what have seen with manufacturers. I would honestly look into the tokico D-specs if you are trying to save some money.

Hmmn. True..

What I really want is a kit with a 10kg/8kg spring rate, upper pillowball mounts, and overall good quailty.. I'm not too concerned with the ride.. Probably have to go for Teins?
