oil change

Theoretically If the s13 holds 4.1 qts of oil, and you change the oil, shouldn't you be able to fill up the empty bottles of oil that you just put in the motor? Because when i just did mine, the oil that was drained only filled up 2 1/3 qts of the empty bottles.?? I know there some oil that remains, but not a whole quart, right?

well idk exactly how long, i bought it form my girlfriends parents who own a towing company, and the car was stolen, and sat in a open field for 2 yrs. so probably 2 and some years. lol.............It doesn't look like theres any leaks, just from where the oil filter got taken off. I was just wondering if this was kind of par for the course.

not right away. you would have to wait longer to seep out all the oil in the crankcase. if it's been sitting for 2 years, that's kinda scary...check your seals and gaskets.

Dude, there would still not be almost 2 quarts of "residue" in the engine.
