put one relay per fan
if you do this, 85 will be what you connect to the ecu. the problem is that it might be too much of draw, which could fry your ecu. i recommend you use a temp sensor to be safe.

You can run the trigger to a stand alone switch not even factoring the ecu in. Throw a led indicator up there and call it a day. don't input anything else into the ecu then is already needed. You will expereince little to no voltage drop.
