I'm in the process of building a all motor KA. my friend has one and has 235 HP, and 210 TQ to the ground.
My mods include 2.6 stoker kit with Crower Forged Rods, JE 12.8:1 Pistons, JWT cams, Custom Indivdual throttle bodies from a Hayabusa, Cobra MAF, Fidanza Flywheel, P&P head, Ferrea + 1mm valves, JWT valve springs and retainers, and Waiting on AEM EMS. Hopefully be pushing more than 240HP, and 230 TQ

WOW.........any pics or more info? like who built it, power curve, dyno chart? if he has 200+whp and its dynoed he should have graphs. also, why go aem ems if u already have it tuned enough to run 235hp? what tuning does it have to make 235hp?? just looking for some specifics......it prabably wouldnt even run with 12.8:1 pistons on stock ems.

oh.....and WHY are you stroking it? i would leave stock stroke, precision balance everything, and bore it to 2.5l.

again, WHY would you stroke the ka24de? its got a huge stroke already for a 4 cylinder......do u really want make it even more unbalanced? honestly for theHUGE $$$ price tag and small displacement increase, just bore it out to 2.5 liters like i said above......and spend the money that would be wasted on the storker kit on something worthwhile like getting everything cryo treated, swaintech coated, extrude honed, ported and polished by a professional, shot-peened, micropolishing the crank, and getting absolutely top end components for everything else!
of course its only my opinion, and what u do with ur $$ is ur choice

The AEM EMS will make is a plug and play standalone that will take advantage of all the mods done. But yeah, why would you stroke it? If anything, bore it, but even then I've read that doesn't give too much power.

yeah but if its already running with 235hp, it cant be using the stock ecu! and if it IS..! ....just looking for some backup for these high hp claims, cause i want to build my motor sometime in the future as well and if these numbers are real, they are incredible!

i'd personally still rather boost 375 to the wheels as a daily driver.

hmm hayabusa ITBs... funny how the 4wd suzuki swift guys never thought about using hayabusa ITBs or any ITBs on their super light dual cam motors.

well the suzuki 4wd guys were prababaly more concerned with torque than gaining a few top end hp, and a single tb manifold is great for low end torque! not to mention strength, (for offroad you want strongest everything right? ) and not having to spend weeks fabricating something!
just a thought.......

True but the EMS will bring out it's potential more. I eblive I read somewhere that the EMS brought out like 30 hp out of just an intake.

my point is not that the ems will give him more horsepower, but how an engine built to that degree would NOT run on the stock ems........!!
