90' speedometer swap

Ok I own a 1990 240 coupe with the o so wonderfull electronic dash (that never works) I was wondering how i would go about swaping my digital out for a analog speedometer. Any help will be apreciated if someone can direct me to a web page with a write up on doing this would be nice also

this is the only website i have posted on i havent really looked for moding my car because i already know what i want to do with it but i need to fix the little things first

make sure its not the speed cable befor you swap clusters.

it wouldnt be the speed cable cuase its all controlled electronically. the speed sensor sends and square wave much like pulse-width modulation, to the cluster where its displayed and then sent from there to the ecu, where it monitored for the speed limiter. thats why people have wrote up articles about getting rid or the speed limiter by clipping the wire that runs to the ecu, it will still display the speed cuase it goes through the cluster first. Does this make sense??
