Air Temp Sensor for Intake question

basically I was cleaning my K&N and the bastard broke off right at the base.. the wires that go into the sensor. basically all im asking is does it matter what wire goes on what side into the air intake temp sensor? cause im gonna have to soulder the wires onto the tiny nubs that are left over.. I know the sensor isnt useful but it threw a code which is annoying. thanks!

find out what kinda off resistane the sensor is suppose to read according to the temperature... and then soldier in resistor in its place and it will always read for example 75 deg. F .. try to find out that information by the search button .. or a manual somewhere good luck..
