Car won't start

so since this last saturday we have had a lot of work done to my car. installed a new clutch and flywheel and the seals. note that the car was running before all the work was done. so next day the car starts making a new rattling noise under the hood. turns out the lower timing chain tensioner on the bottom was stuck. so after 8 hours or so of labor we installed that new tensioner, new guides, new seals, cleaned the parts, new water pump and put everything back together. now my car won't start, and for the last several days we've been racking our brains on why it won't start. there's spark, but it's weak.

Any clue on what it could be or what we should check for? i've heard make sure the timing and everything is on, or it could be the ECU.

Did you check the timing and make sure it's set right?

as far as all 3 of us can tell yes. and we hooked up a noid light to the injectors and they're working once we spin the distributors shaft but it's very weak. almost seems like a bad ground. and we're getting spark but that's very weak too.
