correct rpm at idle

correct rpm at idle
My 89 240 automatic idles at around 700rpm at idle. is this the norm idle rpm?

yes it is 750 is normal as well. so yeah its about right.

i think it was 750 for MT and 700 for AT.

i think you are correct. mine used to idle at 700-725. and it was auto. also depends on how long it has been running. say it had been running for like 10 min. still at 750 over 30 min 700
