hit water now 240 sounds like v8

ok well we had almost nine inches of rain a while back here in nebraska. . . well that night i was driving the 240 and a couple days before i put on a ghetto intake and where the grill thingy is i made a ram outta four inch tube with a elbo that kinda shoved air into the intake well needless to say it rained and i'm sure it scooped water into the intake. . . .well i sold the car for 500 thinking it needed an maf or tps not sure tho well the kid did nothing with it so i bought it back for four hundred because i need a car and it didn't burn ne oil or nething just needs a second gear well. . . when it idles it sounds like a v8 but when u mash it or cob it whatever u want to say it runs fine for the most part . . . but at no gas it kinda wants to die so i'm thinkin tps but what would you guys think?

have you driven it since this happened yet? You may have just sucked water into your intake, so its idling rough. But if you've been driving it, and its still doing it, then thats probably not it since the water would have burned off by then. I dont really know to tell ya the truth.
