Idle issue.

When I start the car and whenever the car is not moving at speed, the car idles around 1.5 rpm and jumps back and forth to 2 rpm.? any ideas? its really annoying.

sounds like a vacuum leak, more information would help better guide you toward the correct answer.

when it is not moving, the RPMs goes between 1500 RPM and 2000 RPM. it jumps up and down from those RPMs. very consistently too. around 2 secs, switches from around 1500 RPM and goes up to 2000 RPM, then back down to 1500RPM and so.....what can it be?

bump cuz mine does the same thing when at a complete stop. its pissin me off too cuz its makin my car run hot as hell. someone please hook us up with an answer.

have you guys checked for codes? another thing that is good to know is if the problem just stared out of the blue one day or after something was altered. it may or may not be related to the alteration but it helps to know.
