Angry impossible start

ok I recently purchased my 89 240 and I'm having trouble getting it started. This is a bone stock car. The car just cranks. I have determined that it is a fuel delivery problem. I am not getting fuel to the plugs. I have checked and swapped the fuel rail and injectors from my donar engine and still nothing. I am getting fuel through the rail and into the return line so fuel pump is good. Also have swapped ecu and still nothing... Any ideas???

fuel pump maybe?

i am having the same problems but only when i leave the engine cold like overnight or more then 4-5 hrs. then it cranks but no start. i give it some gas then it starts. i am guessing it is fuel pump for me and probly for you too.

check your fuel line to see if you installed them correctly. you might have them backwards. also get a noid light to check for pulse in the injectors.

if fuel is getting to the rail as you say but not into the actual plugs then it is obviously an injector problem or perhaps one or multiple of the clips are bad but since there is atleast 1 working then that is enough to bring fuel into the rails...

id say pop the injectors off and leave them in the rail, have someone turn the key enough for the pump to come on and see if they all spray..just watch your eyes lol

check fuel pump pick up screen too.

check fuel pressure, should be 43psi at idle

also inspect the fuel pressure regulator and hoses. its vaccum operated...

well changed out the fuel pump and still nothing.... I guess the story behind the car is it ran fine and then one day it didn't... i ended up pumping out gas that looked like apple juice. with all that said and done, the fuel, rail, injectors, regulator, and pump have all been replaced ( not really mad though cause it would have been replaced anyway...). I took off the intake manifold and cleaned out all the carbon build-up. all this done and still no fuel to the cylinders when i try starting it up...

hmm fuel pump fuse? (underhood by battery, its a 10A)

i'd check wiring , the connectors, and the fuel line itself too
