injector problem
I just checked the resistance of my injectors. It was about 18.5 on each. now my problem is the FSM states that they should be approximately 10-15 ohms in resistance. I was wondering what could cause this and if this means i need to replace my injectors.
Also I am runninmg rich and cannot pass smog at idle, would this also cause this problem.
Thanks.

The resistance isn't too far off, so I would look elsewhere first.
I gotta ask since you didn't mention it...
Did you check/change the spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap, fuel filter, air filter or timing?
Make sure you drive the car for at least 15-20 minutes before you turn it in for your smog check.
If you're very close to passing, there's an old trick to nudging yourself into the green. Change your oil and filter, using 50 weight oil and go do the smog check. Change it back to 10w30 or whatever you normally use afterwards.

I did a full tune up a couple of days before the smog test. I also ran the car for about 30min of the freeway before and i still didnot pass. I will try using 50 weight oil se if that helps.
Thanks
Thanks
